My Philosophy
My first three children were born via C-Section. We had no advocate to fight for us. Our last two living children were born naturally and vaginally. God is amazing! We wish we knew what we know now back then. After my VBAC in 2020, I became a Certified Birth Doula. I love this work! For me as a Christian being a Doula is Discipleship. It's Titus 2, older women helping younger women love their husband and children. Helping them have a successful healthy birth fits along right into that. I did not get into the Doula field to make money. I'm a stay at home mom with five children and my husband provides for me. We don't have a lot of money but the Lord provides for us. I love being at home with my children, but I'm also very passionate about birth and helping mommas. If finances are an issue, please don't hesitate to reach out. It means the world to me just seeing a mother have informed consent and achieve the birth she desires. In times of old, midwives naturally came alongside pregnant mothers in labor to assist and it wasn't a paid service. It was a community service, whether it was mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters or friends. It was duty not big business. This is how I see myself. Big Pharma and the Healthcare complex have killed mothers and babies and decreased the number of children born due to C-Sections. I want to fight against this and this is my way of fighting.
My passion for birth work was ignited after experiencing my very first vaginal birth after 3 C-sections. I have a heart for high risk mommas knowing first hand the difficulties one can face as a high risk mama in the birthing world.

I am passionate about informed consent and making sure that my clients are safe and understand the various procedures taking place during labor. I offer various comfort measures to help my clients have the birth experience they desire.

When I am not with my clients, I enjoy being a homemaker, homeschooling my little ones, sewing, knitting, drawing and spending time with my husband. I also enjoy studying the bible and last minute outings with friends and family.
